I cannot believe the quality of this ink. I printed a few pictures and they came out perfect. I cannot even begin to think about how much money I am saving by using this product. I recommend this to anyone who is tired of overspending on ink.
P.S. Use gloves when filling the ink and DO NOT REMOVE THE VENT TAB BEFORE YOU FILL. I did not read the instructions properly and had a hard time clearing the ink out of the vent.

Epson r280 printer - first time buying refillable cartridges
Bought this product from Amazon, fulfilled by hotzone360 (seller). The packaging was ripped when it was delivered, but all the contents were inside and ready to go. I read the instructions in Engrish - if you catch my drift there.... and the directions are lacking in quality, but the pictures help a lot and you can get the idea of what you need to do. They do have a number to call for help, but it's not rocket science people, put ink in the correct hole and you can't really go wrong.
The filling process was easy and was not messy, but you do have to be careful not to spill ink everywhere. I kept some paper towels on hand, wore gloves, and spread out some plastic and newspaper just to be safe. After filling the cartridges, I replaced them all (not just one - it clearly states they are not compatible with mixed originals and refillable cartridges).
My printer recognized the cartridges right away, but printing was CRAPPY at best (for the first print....stay with me here). I ran the print head cleaner, and let it sit for a few hours. The next time it printed great except for black - nothing. After some frustrating time reseating, printing, cleaning, aligning, etc., I decided to download the latest driver from Epson and try it on a different computer. Success!!! I uninstalled my old driver, and downloaded and installed the new driver - everything looks great! I have not tried to print a true picture on photo paper (if we even have any), but the colors seem to be pretty dang close to what they should be anyway. If you are super concerned about the color mix, you can always adjust it in the printer properties.
The ink provided seems to be good quality - it is not separating in the bottles, looks good on paper, and seems to be a good quality. I'll run a couple of fade tests over the next two weeks and add a little to this review once I've tested and used them a bit more.
One final note about these. I researched CIS systems for a bit and finally decided to go with cartridges instead. The CIS is appealing, but I was worried about the sponges drying out as well as the ink siphon system. True CIS systems built into printers have vacuum pressure systems to keep the ink moving, discard tanks to keep the nozzles clean, removable print heads, cleaning sponges, and a few other important features. If you don't print more than 3-4 times every day, I would not recommend a CIS - it will likely dry out on you and then force ink through only to leak everywhere.
